About us
Who we are
The Mid Cities Pacific Islanders Lions Club is a community service organization dedicated to empowering individuals and families through leadership, service, and cultural unity. Rooted in the rich values of Pacific Island cultures, faith, respect, family, and service, we exist to strengthen the communities we live in by developing people who lead with purpose and compassion. As part of Lions Clubs International, we combine global service values with local cultural wisdom to make meaningful impact where it matters most.
Our club focuses on education, youth development, entrepreneurship, mentorship, and community well-being. We actively support scholarships, school partnerships, youth leadership initiatives, family outreach programs, and service projects that address real needs in our Mid-Cities area. Through collaboration with local schools, churches, nonprofits, and civic leaders, we create opportunities for young people and families to grow in confidence, character, and direction.
Beyond service, we are a bridge between generations and cultures. The Mid Cities Pacific Islanders Lions Club provides a space where heritage is honored, leadership is cultivated, and service becomes a way of life. By investing in people today, we are building a stronger, more connected community for tomorrow; one act of service, one leader, and one family at a time.
Our Approach
Our Mission
"My People Perish For Lack Of Knowledge"
“My people perish for lack of knowledge” is a major influence in our work because we see firsthand how many lives are limited not by lack of ability, but by lack of access to truth, guidance, and opportunity. Everything we do is centered on restoring knowledge, of identity, purpose, skills, and direction, so individuals, families, and communities can thrive instead of merely survive.
Our Vision
"Where There Is No Vision, My People Perish"
“Where there is no vision, my people perish” is the driving force of our organization because we believe people drift not from lack of talent, but from lack of direction. Our work exists to help individuals and families discover vision, set direction, and walk forward with purpose, confidence, and hope.
